Introduction

Hi! We are from PeiCai Secondary School.
We are doing a project about the low birth rate in Singapore.
We have interviewed 9 people between 20-40 years old to find out more about the causes of low birth rate in Singapore. We also asked the people about their views on how Singapore can improve birth rate. Our blog will analyse the causes of low birth rate in singapore.

Singapore occur a low birth rate as people now adays have higher education and  they might  choose  their career rather than married.And by the age they succed in their job,they will aready be in their 30s .and the chances to get pregnant most singaporen consider to have a small family ,as if they have a bigger family thay will need to use more money .so if they have a smaller family they can give the better education for their child .due to better hygiene,meidcal and health care.Old people are having longer live span.
Leseser childrens are born there might not be replacement for the elders  and hence Singapore is very concern about the low birth rate as if this continue the elderlies might need to extend their working life.

Methodology

The  following questions we asked are :

married :
      · How many children do you have
       ·    before you married how many children do you planned to have?
        ·  would you wish to have another child ( if the passenger only has one child)
        · when you had your first child,what do you expect the government to give u?

not married :
        · what is the reason for you not to marry at a young age
        · how many children do you wish to have when you are married 
        ·    what do you think about the low birth rate in singapore
        ·   if the government give you policy ,what do you wish to get
  •  what is the reason for you to have that amount of children
